Bihar STET 2026 Short Details
Post Name	Eligibility / Educational Qualification
Paper 1 – Secondary (Class 9–10)	Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university/institution in the concerned subject/subject group, along with a B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution. OR Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with at least 45% marks along with B.Ed., as per the applicable NCTE regulations. OR Four-year integrated B.A./B.Sc. B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution, as prescribed for the concerned subject/subject group. Certain subject-specific alternative qualifications are also prescribed in the notification, wherever applicable.
Paper 2 – Senior Secondary (Class 11–12)	Master’s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university/institution in the concerned subject, along with a B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution. OR Master’s degree with at least 45% marks along with B.Ed., as per the applicable NCTE regulations. OR Master’s degree with at least 50% marks along with the prescribed B.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. qualification, wherever applicable. OR Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) along with a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. qualification. Certain subject-specific alternative qualifications are also prescribed in the notification, wherever applicable.
